The Sentencing of the Luddites
The crimes that the Luddites commited were that they destroyed the machines that took over the hard working people's jobs and they also often attacked factories. I think there punishment was just, although the Luddites made a good statement on how they should keep jobs for people to have instead of replacing them with machines or getting rid of workers.
The Communist Manifesto
The effects of modern industry and the factory system is that many different working classes often fight over who gets more power and also who makes the most money. Also many feel that certain conditions in the factories or work fields are unfair and that they should get paid more for the harder labor and more work they put into there job. Wages increase and decrease according to the labor done and the production costs and this keeps the modern industry thriving but keeps some workers unhappy and feeling like they're treated unfairly. These effects can lead to more effects such as workers on strike against the company and or a downfall in the company business. With these effects in the minds of workers, this keeps them united to get what they want and what they deserve. And with each working class comes those who support them and who are against them. There goals are represented by the forces of those who strive to get what they deserve. The class conflict between the bourgeoisie and proletariat lead to many economic revolutions due to the above effects and standards.
